arillso.agents.do role – Install DigitalOcean Agent

Note

This role is part of the arillso.agents collection (version 0.0.12).

It is not included in ansible-core. To check whether it is installed, run ansible-galaxy collection list.

To install it use: ansible-galaxy collection install arillso.agents.

To use it in a playbook, specify: arillso.agents.do.

Entry point main – Install DigitalOcean Agent

Synopsis

  • Installs the DigitalOcean Agent on the target system.

Parameters

do_packages

list / elements=dictionary

A list of package names and versions to install for the DigitalOcean Agent.

Default is to use the distribution’s package manager to install the latest version of the agent.

Default: [{"name": "do-agent"}]

do_service_name

string

The name of the service that runs the DigitalOcean Agent. Default is ‘do-agent’.

Default: "do-agent"
